[SOLVED] Can only delete shared files locally - howcome ?
I have files shared in LAN with full permissions ("Everyone") but from some reason I cannot delete them via the network (I can only access\copy\view etc..). I can delete these files only by logging in to the server locally.
Why I cannot delete these files via the network ? Thanx in advance! |

Are you logging in as a different user for the network as opposed to on the server? Check the NTFS permissions to see if you have full access there.

Re: Can only delete shared files locally - howcome ?
Thank you for replying.
Apparently it was something with the sharing's permissions: under the sharing tab, in "Permissions" (not under the security tab) - I set them to "allow" and that was it. |
