file sharing between WinXP& Linux
I have Windows XP Pro Service pack 3 on my PC and a PS3 I am thinking of loading Linux onto. My question is if I do load Linux onto my PS3 is there a way to transfer files to the PS3, Reinstall Windows on the PC, and then transfer files back? I have no experience with Linux, and the friend who had some experience with it couldn't give me an answer on it.

If you have a reasonably standard Linux distribution, you can install SAMBA and have Windows compatible file sharing.
