Re: transferring a big file to a new computer over a Wireless Connection
Have you connected the two computers in a network ? If so, just copy from one to the other.
When you say big file, do you mean 4 gb in ONE file ? Or is it various files in one folder ? The fact that you asked the question insinuates you're having some sort of problem ? What is the problem experienced ? |

Re: transferring a big file to a new computer over a Wireless Connection
Transferring over a wireless connection is an exercise in patience. Why not temporarily wire the laptop to the router and transfer it that way, it'll be MUCH faster and more reliable as well.

Re: [SOLVED] transferring a big file to a new computer over a Wireless Connection
Connect it with a CAT5 patch cable to one of the router ports.
