Epson Printers vai network! arg!

Hello,
For months I have not been able to network our 7 Epson 4800 printers on our windows 2003 servers. Seems weird since I have successfully networked various HP large format printers across campus.

I am able to print directly to the printer via IP, but when I send the job to the server nothing happens and I get a communication error.

Epson support would not give me any help

...and stated that Epsom drivers do not support any server OS. So i then created a XP pro box to queue jobs and still had the same problem. I NEED to get these up on a server!

anyone out there run into this issue?

What printer/s are you talking about ?
If it's the Epson Stylus Pro 4800 large format printer, look here : http://esupport.epson-europe.com/Pro...o424U003D&tc=6
This shows Windows Server 2003 downloads.

Hey thanks for the reply.....anyways I'm using Epson Stylus Pro 4800 and 4880's. There are no windows server drivers here in the US on the Epson site. I did download and install the server drivers on the above link. However, i'm still getting a communication error.....I'm trying to print to a queue then from the queue, we move the job to the printer with the assigned IP address......It's something in the epson driver that is causing this....I'm having no problems with generic drivers or gutenprint
