cannot access files on network.
hey,
i recently bought a icybox4220 for my home network acompanyed by a 750GB seagate HDD i have set it up connected via ethenet to my router and set it up with folders and user names from its own webpage. the problem i now have is that i can't find any way to access the folders and put stuff in them or take stuff out. ideally i want to beable to access it from anywhere i can get on the net so that i can get to films and various other files whilst traveling. i realy need this to work as i only have 5Gb of space left on my 500Gb HDD :( thanx for any help!! |

I'd configure it with it's internal FTP server and port forward port 21 to the IP address of the NAS. This is reasonably secure and easy to configure and setup.
