Vnc

I installed real VNC server on my office PC. I locked my office PC. Now at home, I can remotely connect to my office PC. However, using Alt-Ctr-Del, I cannot unlock my office PC remotely. Using Alt-Ctr-Del will only lock my local home PC. Is that because VNC doesn't support Alt-Ctr-Del? If I want to remotely control my office PC, I cannot lock my office PC. Is that right?

Thanks for your help!

Re: Vnc

I'm not sure if there is something like it on VNC, but with Dameware, there is an icon that simulates the alt+ctrl+del combo (along with other icons for other combos) on the remote PC.
Check the icons in the remote control window for a similar icon. Sorry I cant be more specific, but as I said I use Dameware on our work network and have not used VNC. But hope this gives you something to look into

Re: Vnc

You can simulate a Ctrl-Alt-Del with UltraVNC. Right click on the title bar (anywhere in the blue bar), and you'll get a menu with lots of options, including Ctrl-Alt-Del to the remote machine.
