cannot access folder on shared drive
hello i am not able to access folder on shared drive... i can go into the drive but when i try to access the folder it says access denied . but i can access the share doc of tht pc. my os is xp and the pc which i am trying to access is also xp .. so can u tell me what is the problem

What flavour(s) of XP are the respective machines running? Sharing capabilities of XP Home and XP Pro are somewhat different.
Have you ever been able to access the shared folder? Can you access other shared folders on the same drive? My guess is that this is an issue of permissions, but without the information requested it is difficult to offer specific advice. David |
