Printer Sharing Issue / Panda Global Protection 2009

Hello:

I have a desktop PC running Vista, wired connection to Buffalo router. HP Photosmart 2410 is connected to this primary PC via USB.

I have two notebook computers, both on the home network wirelessly without any problems. I am trying to set up printer sharing in the network. The HP printer does not support networking natively, so the primary PC needs to host and share with the notebooks.

I set up the printer sharing without too much difficulty. However, Panda Global Protection 2009 seems to be blocking with its firewall, as the sharing works only when this is disabled. The instructions as to how to configure the firewall are pretty vague, and I am new to this.

Can anyone help me with very specific instructions as to how to configure the Panda software to allow printer sharing in the network. Thanks so much!

I think Panda support would be the place to look. I don't have any experience with that product.

OK thanks anyway. I have sent email request to Panda twice and received no response - a little disappointing....

That is disappointing. Do they have a forum where you might be able to ask that question?
