Lan Remote desktop

Hi Everyone,

I'm having a little trouble using the Remote Desktop application that comes with XP Pro.

I have a server with 7 workstations running XP Pro. The server is running NT4(Very old I know, soon upgrading to Server 2003). When I try to access the Remote Desktop using Lan, it says my DOMAIN does not contain any terminal servers..[I've attached a screenshot for reference.]

All my workstations were setup professionally, and they all seem to run in sync as they should be...

What am I missing in order to use Lan Remote desktop?

Re: Lan Remote desktop

NT4 does not support RDP. That's new with W2000. There is NT4 Terminal Services edition, but that is a seperate version version of the OS.

Re: Lan Remote desktop

Oh, I see...

Well we're upgrading to server 2003 soon, I'm guessing that one must have it right?
