I have created a new Network between my tower and my GF's laptop. I used the network wizard to create the Network and the map drive to have them connected. Now I can see the Z drive on both my tower and my GF's laptop but I can't drag and drop folders from her laptop to my tower.(premmission not allowed) I know it is because she dose not have admin. access on my computer. So I tried to add a new user (on my tower) and give that person access to the admin. group but it didn;t do anything. I think because I just created a new account here and not give her permission on her laptop to access the network drive? Can anyone tell me how to properly create a new user account (on the proper computer.... Tower or Lap??) and give them permission to access the network?

Re: Almost There ! (need help)
you supposedly have the z drive on your GF laptop and its pointing to a folder in your tower right?
you've create a new user, give the user permission modify - write - read on the folder in your tower.
