Need Network Help!!! (moved from xp)

Hello

I am a begginer at Networking and i want to set up a home network on our three computers. All three connect via ethernet cable to a switch which inturn is connected to the router. All computer are running windows xp home edition sp2. I have run the network setup wizard on all computers but when i try to access the workgroup under my network places, i get an error messgae "MSHOME is not accesbile you might not have permission to use this network resource. Connect the administrator of the network to find out if you have access permisions. The list of severs for this workgroup is not currently availble." I am the administrator of both computers so i do not know why it is saying this.

Thanks,
Bofhead

That is frequently a firewall issue, try disabling ALL the firewalls and see if that changes the indications.

Well, I have no idea what manual configuration is supposed to do for you, but it sure won't solve this issue!

I think you need to be a lot more specific about the environment and exactly how they're "downloading".
