EEK! PC anywhere versions

A new client asked me to obtain a copy of PCanywhere so I can access voice files on their computer for me to work on at home (transcribing). The have version 10.5 on their computer and can't find the disk to put the software on my computer. I purchased a copy of the software but could only get 12.1 version. Will I still be able to access their files with a different version? Before I open it and can't return it I'd like to figure this out. Thanks!

Re: PC anywhere versions

I'd contact Symantec, they're the authority on the application.

Re: PC anywhere versions

You will probably have better luck just asking them to update their version of PC Anywhere! That would be the easiest way of being sure the versions are compatible. Not only that - but the newer versions have better features and/or more enhanced features. 10.5 is pretty old. I have version 11 and I thought that was old! Time to update!
