Network system sharing a printer on 4 OS.

Ultimately I would like to create a network where both my notebooks Compaq WinXP/HP Vista could access/use the printer from my Presario 5050 Win98 desktop via Wi-Fi. But to do this, I need to find a wireless USB adapter for my Presario 5050. Also I thought about having a dual boot with Linux/Puppy ISO. I would also like Linux/Puppy ISO to be able to access the Internet too. Any suggestions or advice? Much needed. Thanks.

Truthfully, I'd buy an Ethernet connected print server instead. This will allow universal sharing of the printer for any O/S and is a much better solution that trying to do it through W98.

John, I'm a novice but what you just said seems simple and practical ..... much to my relief I think. So please expand on your thought about buying an Ethernet Connected print server: Are we speaking of buying hardware/software or a new printer. I have a two year old Brother DCP -110C, I'm hoping I can still use it. Thank you for taking the time to help, much appreciated.

You sure you can't afford it? For someone that has multiple computer, less than $30 doesn't seem to be that big a deal! http://www.gearxs.com/gearxs/product...oducts_id=8687

Hell, that's why I'm broke!. In all seriousness John thanks for the link the ones I was looking at were costing a minimum of $300.00 and change. So yeah I can afford to eke-out $30 + bucks. Thanks for helping me out.
