Vista cannot see XP shared printers
Hi guys, have recently bought Hp Laptop with windows vista business version. have installed the laptop in my office network and connects to the internet without a problem BUT when trying to add a printer from a pc in the same network having windows xp it becomes a nightmare! I cannot see all computers with windows xp only few with vista OS...when I tried to find that xp computer with its ip address from vista laptop, I was able to add the printer! what is the issue with the xp hostnames?? please help.
