Hi lomax, Welcome to TSF

.rr is a very odd extension indeed, I've never heard of it before.

I did a bit of searching around and found that it could be related to 2 things.

1. http://www.steinberg.net/24_1.html
2. Rollercoaster tycoon.

Apparently it is some sort of a compressed file. Have you tried uncompressing it? (Using something like Winrar or Winzip)

Re: Is this the right Forum??

Thanks 4 responding guys. I don't know what these 'rollercoaster' and 'railroad' tycoon things are, so I'll look them up and I'll try the link you've given me. I've tried a few progs to 'unzip' it but no dice. I'll let u know what luck I have. Cheers, Lomax.

Re: Is this the right Forum??

ok, I've had enough!! I guess it's something connected to 'solaris', but I just can't be pestered with it any more. Whatever it is it's not worth all the trouble so I'm just going to erase it. Thanks to you guys who have tried to help me with this. I appreciate all your efforts. Lomax.
