Movie files converted to video clips after burned as data disc?

Long story short I needed to make room on my PC so I took all my movie files and burned them as a data dvd. Funny thing is when I tried to watch them back in my PC they are now "video clips" and all I get is the sound. I didn't convert them and this has never happened before. _________________

What does this have to do with networking?

I'm not sure what this has to do with networking, but it is possible that the correct codecs are not loading... Combined Community Codec Pack http://www.cccp-project.net/ It has worked great for me!

While not exactly a networking question, here's a couple things you can do:

Download the latest stable codecs, such as from a codec pack like the K-Lite Codec Pack.

You can also check and see if there are problems with the video files, your codecs, and so forth by using an inspection program like GSpot Codec Information Appliance.

also, try playing the files in VLC, its a great video player with many codecs built in, and i haven't yet met a file it can't play
