There are quite a few ways that someone could have remote access. LogMeIn, Webex, VNC, Remote Desktop, etc...
If you have an icon for one of those in the lower right near the clock then someone might have remote access to your machine. With Remote Desktop you can disable it by right clicking on My Computer, clicking Properties, clicking the Remote tab and unchecking the "Allow users to connect to this computer remotely" check box. The others you can uninstall. If you are unsure if a program is installed that might give someone access you can open Add/Remove Programs, make sure the "Hide Updates" box is checked and then look at everything installed on your PC. Anything that you don't recognize you can search for in Google and see what it is. If you have any other questions about it let me know. |
