Question PLS HELP - Sharing a PRINTER through a WIRELESS Network

HELP HELP HELP HELP HELP HELP HELP HELP HELP HELP HELP HELP HELP HELP

Could someone please help me setup my wireless network to share a USB Printer on a TOWER that is wired to a wireless router to allow laptops to wirelessly print to shared printer?

EQUIPMENT

1 - Netgear RangeMax Wireless Router WPN824v2

2 - Tower with WINDOWS XP Home Edition

3 - Laptop with WINDOWS XP Home Edition

4 - Laptop with WINDOWS VISTA

5 - HP Photosmart C4200 series PRINTER



HELP PLEASE... HELP

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The technique is the same as for a wired computer, the wireless link has no significance here.

Make sure the printer is marked as shared on the computer that has it directly connected.
Use the Add Printer wizard to add a network printer.

i believe i forgot to mention, I am using SYMANTEC CLIENT FIREWALL & SYMANTEC ANTIVIRUS.

- is there a setting on the firewall that I need to configure to allow for NETWORK SHARING?

Probably. I don't use their stuff, but it's often a problem when attempting to network. Disable the firewall and see if you can connect. If so, that's where the problem lies.
