authentication Issue in XP

I have a huge problem that is confused me alot.
I connect 2 computers like this :
I have a PC :
computer name : server
workgroup : WORKGROUP
os : XP
internal network NIC ip : 192.168.0.1
connected to the internet by ADSL which is shared with internal lan

laptop :
computer name : vista
workgroup : WORKGROUP
os : vista
ip : 192.168.0.2

my problem is that I can browse my laptop share files with pc but I can't browse pc share files by laptop. windows do not accept my username and password. I unchecked simple sharing in xp and vista. and in connection properties of my NICs the "File And Printer Sharing For Microsoft windows" and "Clients for microsoft networks" are checked. I can ping pc , I can remotly connect to my pc desktop I can use internet in laptop but i can't browse my shared files. (i can't pass username and password authentication) . with some exams I can definitly say that my pc (XP) has problem .

What are the specific indications? If it's a permission issue, try the following fix.

Create a file in notepad named FIXANON.REG with the following contents:

You should have 3 boxes on the bottom in NOTEPAD.
1)Filename : FIXANON.REG
2)Save as type: all files
3)Encoding: ANSI
If you do not change it from txt type to All files type, then the file will actually be FIXANON.REG.txt, this won't accomplish the desired result.

Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Lsa]
"restrictanonymous"=dword:00000000
------------------- Use text before this line -----------------

Double click on the file and say Yes to the merge into registry question.

Reboot the computer.

actually it didn't work.
I checked my regestry and that value was set as you said.
I still have my problem.

Create a user account on the XP machine with the same name/password as is used to login to the Vista machine. Note that Vista's default is to inhibit file sharing if there is no login password.

I have done it too ,But still have my problem.
Still wants me to enter username and password.
