Is there any way I can block Limewire from being downloaded on my computer?

you can block it through your firewall which should stop the use of it.

Norton AntiVirus Now Blocks Limewire.exe and some other P2P Programs as well

but thats just adding another problem to the mix, try and put a block on the website.

use windows firewall to prevent outgoing packets (controling outgoing packets has just been added to vista). if you are using xp ,install zone alarm or other firewalls .

block any words contaning limewire on ur browser

Block the port limewire uses from your router.

Limewire generally uses: 6346

on ur router, look around for website block/filter and add limewire.com to the list, also add other places where it can be downloaded from
