Aggrevated
O.k. heres the situation i was asked to put together a network of computers for a non-profit organization. Two computers are running on Windows ME One is running 98 and the other is running 95. The computer running Me is the server. Now heres the problem there is ged software on the server that is supposed to be accessed by the other computers but when i try to pull it up it only gives me a green screen with a white box in the middle (i think that is the bg for the ged program but nothing else happens) all the computers on the network can see the main server. I need to get this up and running so that the people can do there ged work. If additonal info is needed just let me know im a total newbie to networking and was kinda pushed into this head first so any help would be appreicated. Thank you

Re: Aggrevated
I'd start by not using a Windows ME machine as a server. It's amazing enough that those computers work at all.
Are you sure that this GED program is able to be run over a network?

Re: Aggrevated
You are using a collection of ancient machines and Windows versions and trying to network an unknown application. I think we need to know a LOT more about the application specifically to even venture a guess.
