Good Morning,
I have a Windows XP Pro machine (machine1) on our Windows XP network from which I'm trying to serve an intranet site. The web application is ASP.Net 2.0, and I can run it locally, with the URL "http://localhost/intranet." It is set up as a virtual directory, off of the Default web site in IIS. The virtual directory is set to anonymous access and allow IIS to control password. So far, from any other machine on the network, I can access the default IIS page of the site, with the URL: "http://machine1.domainname.com." However, when I try to access the virtual directory containing the ASP site "http://machine1.domainname.com/intranet" I get the "403 Your are not authorized" page in my browser. On machine1, the web application is stored physically in c:\inetpub\wwwroot\, and I have given security permissions to every domain user and computer I can think of for that folder. Am I missing something obvious? Any suggestions? |
