Long time
Hi, My name is Innana. It has been literally years since I have messed with any kind of software. So....doing something as simple as changing a bin file to a jpg is challenging. LOL! I feel so illiterate it is not funny. I am trying to help a friend put some photos that she e-mailed to me from her phone, to her myspace website. when it came in it says that it is a jpg however, when I save it to a folder that i can access from her website on my computer, the file says that it was saved as a bin instead of a gif or jpg. when I try to re-download it does not give me an option as to how I want to save it like I am used to. so there is the conundrum I am in. can anyone help me? PLEEEEASE

Re: Long time
Does the *.bin file have a file size, or does it say that it is zero bytes?

Re: Long time
I can both see the size and the pic. However, I got tired of waiting on a reply and figured it out by dinking with it. lol. I don't like being beaten. I figured out that if I right click in the photo and scrolled up to save as....and clicked. it put it in my folder as a jpeg and it automatically did it from netscape. I am not sure how that actually worked, however, it did and we were able to successfully xfer them to her website. if there is an easier or different way of doing it other than chance luck I am still interested. Thankyou for your respense. I look forward to hearing from you in the near future.
