bitcomet not working

Hi,

I'm having a lot of trouble running Bitcomet or any other torrent program. After downloading for a few minutes, the program (bitcomet, bittorrent etc) crashes. I did not previously have this problem and I'm not sure what could be causing it.

Could anyone suggest how I could find out what the problem is and how to fix it?
