FTP server set up

Greetings,
I have an ftp server set up problem (I think).
I have a home FTP server using dns2go.com
I set up the server using Cerberus server.
My XP pro is on HD C, and my folders are on HD F.
Two different HD’s so if the main one crashes my info is still there.
Now when I log on from a remote computer, the link hangs for a long few seconds then the log on comes on. After logging in there is a long hang time and I get a prompt saying.
“AN error occurred opening that folder on the FTP server. Make sure you have permission to access that folder Details: The connection with the server was reset:

On C drive I have Cerberus, when I created an account with Cerberus I direct it to F drive and add it to my account. I can not seem to find a work around for this. Am I missing a setting or miss directing my account?
Any input would be great.

Thanks ROB
