Access Denied.
I want to access my other system via lan connection. I can access it shares but i can not access the root or admin shares like c$. I am using windows xp pro on both machines and no firewall. I use Nod32 as antivirus . I have noticed that netlogon service do not run when i boot by system. When i manually start it , a message appears sayin: The Netlogon service started and then stopped. some services stop automatically if they have no work to do. Can anyone tell me what possibly could be the cause. Thank you in advance
P.S: i know the admin credentials (login and password) and when i try to logon through those then it again asks for the password as if the password is wrong but it is actually not( i am 200% sure). I figured out that netlogon is not running might be because of that . i tried to run directly \\computername\c$ and through net use and by mapping but same problem. For Net use computername it prompts for password which i enter and error appears access denied. both of my pcs are on the same workgroup. |

Re: Access Denied.
Why do you need to access the admin shares? I never use those.

Re: Access Denied.
Sometimes you want to have something from hard disk of the other pc and you dont want to go to the other pc again and again and share that thing. so directly accessing the c ,d or whichever drive you want.
