accessing files on a wireless network

I have two laptops that connect to the internet via a wireless router. How can I enable file sharing between the two computers wirelessly? Or do I have to connect one physically to the router first? I know it seems simple, but I just can't find a simple how-to for connecting to wireless laptops together for file sharing. I thought I'd already created a network, but nothing shows up on my network places. I did this prior to moving here and setting up this new internet connection, so maybe I just need to re-create the network?

Try this tutorial, since both have Internet connections through the router, you're most of the way there.

Thanks...that took me to a general web page on networking. I looked up Helmig, but do you remember exactly which tutorial or article I should look at? There are a million on his page. I will keep scanning to see if one looks right. Thanks.
