Hamachi purchase: what could it mean?
As I'm sure you know by now it was announced a couple of days ago that Hamachi was purchased by Logmein. I've had good experiences with both programs, and while I was primarily nervous at first that it might mean Hamachi would no longer be free, my fears were laid to rest when both Logmein and Hamachi announced that the program would indeed remain free.
So, now that the worries are aside, what do you think the combined powers of Hamachi and Logmein could create? Their programs work on similar concepts, and it'd be interesting if they were somehow "rolled together"; for example maybe they'll add a button in Hamachi that would let you remotely access any of your contacts' systems (with their permission obviously) Let us speculate! |
