fonts on my web page

i have a website (www.themepics.co.uk) which uses the font "Berlin Sans FB Demi". my friend said that when they were viewing it, it came up all in times new roman. presumerably this is because they dont have the font so is there any way in which i can make them download the font in order to view the website? i am using microsoft frontpage2000.
Thanks,
Max.

I'd pick a more common font.

I know this is an old topic, however this is a common problem, so the next best thing to do is to pick a very similar font as a backup and then give a few more options that are common windows,linux and mac fonts so the system can choose if the user has not updated thier machine or go forbid is (in your case it looks like it) running windows 98/ME/SE which did not have this as a common system font.

An example would be font-type:arial, Helvetica, Sans, Sans-serif;

these should be similar enough accress all os types to be ok, not fabulous but ok. The other altherative is image replacement or sifr which uses flash images to replace text here as etc it is done using a span and a class so .bodysubHeader span{
display:none;
visibility:hidden;
}

This is an example taken of my own design due to the inheritence laws in css this particular span will only be affected if placed after class .bodysubHeader is used so <h1 class="bodysubheader">words etc here or image of choice<span> words hidden here</
