connecting 2 computers (easy question)
if i use an ethernet cross over cable to connect a computer to mine.. we can transfer files but can we also play a 2 player game vs or with each other?

you can.
not just sort of. any game that says 2 player on ipx/spx or, tcp/ip will work fine on your little 2 computer "lan"
