dcc-ics 2xps ?
Hi all,
Could I (and how) accomplish ics between 2 xp computers, connected by dcc laplink cable? I've found some on this site http://www.windowsnetworking.com/j_helmig/dccicshs.htm , but it's all related to OS-es up to win2000. They say: "Dial-up networking and Direct cable use internally the same component: the Dialup-Adapter. To be able to use DUN and DCC at the same time, you need to install a second Dialup-Adapter." I'm wondering if this issue persists in XP as well, and if so, can I applay the same procedure to install a second DialUp-Adapter? (Yes I know that is better to use lan cards, but I want to test dcc-ics to know what can be done, and what performances it has :)) Thanks |

I have no idea, I've never been inclined to even attempt this.
