Hi Guys, I have a similar problem to this, only instead of the error that glovesave is getting, my pc is just asking for a password. I never set any passwords on either computer so not sure how to proceed.
I am running XP on a P3 128 meg ram (i know..... too slow im working on that) I'm also running win ME on a P4 512 meg ram. The XP computer can view the ME computer and can access drives open files etc. all working well. The ME computer can see the XP computer on the network, but when i try to access it i get the text box telling me to insert password. Anybody know how/where i can disable the password? Thanks guys edit* perhaps i should also add that im using a netgear MR814 wireless router, but i am not using the wireless section. Both PC's linked via patch cables to router Last edited by Rookio; 05-23-2006 at 07:41 PM. Reason: more info |

Even though it appears you're having the same problem, please start a new thread. It's very difficult to keep two problems straight and who's working on what in a single thread. Thanks for your cooperation.
