laptop slow to respond
i have a compaq presario xl1200 laptop computer, running win me. i'm using a belkin highspeed 54g wireless card. my problem is that my system becomes slow to respond ,i.e. mouse reacts eratic , after about 45 min. of use. restarting computer gives me another 45 min. before same problem reappears. system has no problems with card removed and connected to cable modem or on dial-up.

I'd start with spyware/malware scans, that's what this sounds like.
