LNE100TX V4 Connection Problems

When I first start my computer, I get no connectivity to my DSL provider. I have manually set the ip address to known working configuration but the problem seems to be with the physical address which is all F's (FF-FF-FF...). If I disable and then enable the NIC then I get I get a good connection. This just recently started happening.

BTW, Before I set the IP address manually, it was set to auto and I'd get the wrong IP address (162...) along with the physical address of FF-FF...

Any Clues?

Tell us something about your machine configuration, as well as the version of Windows you run.

Open a DOS window and type:

IPCONFIG /ALL >C:\RESULT.TXT

Open C:\RESULT.TXT with Notepad and copy/paste the entire results here.

The problem was in the registry. I added a "NetworkAddress" string with the MAC address to the registry for the NIC and everything is working fine. Thanks for the response.
