computer connection situation
I want to network the two computers in my home.I need suggestions for the easiest and most inexpensive way to do so. The main comp has an celeron 1.2 processor with 758 mb's of mem. The os is xp pro. I connect to the internet with a dsl modem with only one ethernet connection. The other one is an old Packard Bell with win 98se. The pack-bell has a pci nic card, a pctel modem and the various connectors in back. I am lost as to what to do get them together and utilize the main comps internet connection without having to spring for a multi connection dsl modem.
Thanks |

You could just get a wired router. You usually can pick one up for around 20 bucks.

Joe is right, this is a no-brainer, the broadband router is the best way to do this.
