no internet
I am trying to set up a wireless connection with another computer in my house. I just installed a Linksys Wireless-G pci adapter and for some odd reason my cd rom drive will not boot up the installation cd. I've tried booting from the cd, other cds work fine in the drive. Could it possibly be that i need some windows updates before iam able to runs certain programs? or that i just don't have a certain motherboard driver installed? Any help would be appreciated

You should be able to at least read the CD, even if you needed something else.
What do you mean, "boot up the installation CD"? Can you browse the CD with Windows Explorer?

well i found out that the cd was bad, i tested it in three different computers. I went on the site and downloaded the drivers and burned them to a cd and transfered them to my pc. They installed fine but when i bring up the monitoring program it says that it has an access point to the router but no internet could be found. am i missing some motherboard driver? Please post back.
