Suppossed wireless NIC installation failure
My new linksys wireless network card will not allow me to assign a drvier to it.(currently running Windows XP on a compaq computer) It says that due to an installation problem that it cannot assign the driver. However, it detects that it is a linksys wireless card and its classification. I am currently setting up another computer with the same wireless card. So, I tried the problematic card in the computer I knew it to work on. And it worked no problem at all. I also tried plugging another device into the same PCI port and that device worked fine. I was wondering if it might be a Windows XP operating system problem and if so is it possible to get around.
THANKS FOR THE SUPPORT, Zude |

I'm not sure what's going on, does Linksys have anything to say on the topic?
