Re: D-Link Problem
I have no idea what you're actually saying here. You do not forward to a public IP address, port forwarding is configured within the local network for specific ports and local network IP addresses.

Re: D-Link Problem
Hi John,
Thanks you for your reply. I am forwarding my local IP to a public IP that our ISP provided. From outside the network i can access it via 202.88.xxx.xxx.But from my network i can't access from 202.88.xxx.xxx. It was working when i use Di 604 dlink router regards Gireesh |

Re: D-Link Problem
Oh, now I get it. You have to have NAT Loopback on the router to allow you to access your own public IP address from inside your network. Obviously, the current router doesn't offer that option.

Re: D-Link Problem
Why wouldn't you just access it via the internal IP on the server? Example: Your server is 192.168.1.25 and you're hosting a website on there. From out side you access it HTTP://111.222.333.444, but internal, couldn't you just access it as http://192.168.1.25? Or is there something blocking that?

Re: D-Link Problem
Hard to believe the CISCO RVS4000 doesn't support NAT loopback, check it's configuration options.
