Hi! I connect my computer to the internet using a router. The router is connected to my computer by a network cable. Today, while browsing the internet, my computer was disconnected from the internet! A bubble appeared saying that "the network cable is unplugged", and I checked the network cable and it was ok! What attracted my attention is that the orange light that comes from the network card at the back of the computer is off. Then I turned off my computer and looked at the light again, but it was on! I turned my computer on, and the light disappeared! What's the problem? Do I need to change my network card? NOTE: I'm now using my old, original modem, and the internet connection is ok, so no problem with my internet provider.

Re: Network card is not able to connect to the router!
Well it appears either the driver got corrupted (reload it), the card died, or perhaps the port on the router died. The cable is a possibility, but unless you stepped on it and stressed the connectors, that's unlikely.
