Re: Dlink dwa-652
The first issue is drivers. The card specifications on NewEgg and the D-Link site say it only supports 32-bit Windows Vista (and WinXP/Win2k), but the laptop comes with 64-bit Vista. However, I have seen people say the card works under Linux via the Madwifi driver and D-Link's site seems to have 64-bit Windows Vista drivers if you go to the driver downloads for that card.
D-Link drivers (after clicking through country->Drivers): http://www.dlink.com/products/defaul...=DWA-652&tab=3 The second issue is the device uses the CardBus interface. The laptop however uses an ExpressCard interface. To get the two to work together you would need an adapter (they do exist, but I haven't used one). Example adapter: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16839104023
