Vista networking issues
I have a new Dell Hybrid studio it is 1 of 12 i have on the network.
The problem: I am awitch out system s and the old system is running XP Pro and the new system is running is running Vista. The issues is that when the ethernet cable is attached to the XP system it will work fine but as so as i attach it to the vista system it will noy reconinze the cable. The vista was all the new upadates and drivers, but still when plugged in the nic lights do not come on. At this point i have swicthed out wires afew times and diable and renabled the adapter. Still no lights and no connection. Any ideas.
