Re: 4 pin ATX +12 volt power cable

If I understand this, you want to power a 12 volt fan/light. Correct?

I'ld use a wall wart and hard wire it.

But i dont know what power cable i should use?! im only a new user to elctronics as im still doing my GCSE's but if it helps would you want me to send a picture of all the cables i get with the talismoon fan?
It orgianly plugs into a 3 pin plug on the xbox 360 it just is a better fan an lightes up but i want it just to have in my room as a sort of 'cool' effect.
Figure out what you are going to power it from. That will dictate the necessary hardware. You can use any connector with two or more pins, as long as you have both male and female ends. Make sure you keep the polarity the same.

A couple notes:
1) Please do not pm me. Keep this in the open forum
2) Moderator, how about moving this to Hardware Support.
