Problem with getting onto Internet.

I am setting up a dell latitude C830 computer running windows XP service pack 3. It works fine when connected by ehternet cable. When i try to connect to the internet wirelessly it says page cannot be displayed yet signal strength is excellent and says it is connected. It is a Linksys Wireless G Broadband router. My wifes computer is connected to it and it accesses the internet fine thru the WiFi router.

in your internet browser, go tools - internet options and go to the connection tab. Check your settings here. make sure only "automatically detect settings" is ticked
