Onboard Nic Cap???

Hello all! anyway i have a GA-945GzM-s2 motherboard with a onboard 10/100/1000 mbit nic (RTL8110SC Chip) a while back i tested it on a T1 line i got a pathetic 60 kb download speed. While another computer on the same line got 3mb/s download so what is the problem? I am planning on getting Adsl in my house and was wondering what kind of pci nic i could get to improve my speed. I am planning on heavy downloading and heavy gaming any suggestions would be very nice!

Thanks.

Re: Onboard Nic Cap???

It is unlikely the NIC is the problem with your speed. T1 speed is 1.54mbps. Four wire ADSL can be as high as 22mbps, although the speed depends on the service you buy. If you're already waiting for adsl installation, I would wait and see what kinds of speeds you get once it's installed.
