Hi everyone!
I gonna buy this router TRENDnet TW100-S4W1CA, but I'm not sure if it can connect directly to my broadband port or I have to buy another modem. This is because I don't understand what they write in the manual: "Connected and linked to a Cable/xDSL Modem". Here is the link of the router http://downloads.trendnet.com/TW100-...100-S4W1CA.pdf So my questions are: - Does this "Cable" mean RJ-45 cable? - Can I use the router without modem? I'm appropriate with any help and advice! Thanks, |

Re: Router + Modem?
The 'cable' in this case refers to television cable as opposed to xDSL delivered via telephone. Often, but not always, the modem is supplied by the internet provider. Contact them to discuss what is needed.
