Problem with USB wireless adapter
Recently I purchased a Netgear RangeMax Dualband USB adapter to pick up my wireless internet from my grandma living next door (Long story). I obviously have full consent + password so that's not an issue.
I find that my connection disconnects every few minutes and runs extremely slow, even when attempting to run Java programs. I am thinking of taking the unit back, but I was wondering if an actual Wireless card for a PCI adapter would be better, since it is a larger unit and probably more capable since it is hooked directly up to your PC instead of a flash drive sized wireless adapter. I am looking for a replacement as well, so any suggestions are welcome. Thank you for your time. |

Re: Problem with USB wireless adapter
I like the PCI adapters better, they tend to be more reliable. Really any major brand adapter will do.
