DSL to WRT54GL Router
Greetings!
I have a DSL connection to my home, using a common RJ11 cable (or whatever the common household telephone line is) I have recently come across a Linksys Broadband Router (Model WRT54GL); Is it possible to use this router with my existing DSL connection? Thanks |

Re: DSL to WRT54GL Router
That would ba an Actiontec GT704-WG.
http://www.actiontec.com/support/pro...pid=40&typ=all I believe it has router capabilities, but none of which I am impressed with. |

Re: DSL to WRT54GL Router
You will have to either bridge the Actiontec to eliminate it's NAT function or change the base address of the Linksys router to avoid the conflict.
In the Advanced Setup of that modem, select Transparent Bridging. Then you'll also have to configure your user name/password and PPPoE in the Linksys WAN configuration to connect to your DSL service.
