need some help with my network designing project
Hi,
I need some help with my final year project. Can someone give me some guidelines as t o how to go about this project: Our goal with the project is for the student to develop an idea or implement a procedure that combines the knowledge learned from the courses you have taken. It can cover network security, firewalls, or any application involving software and hardware. You have been hired as the network engineer for a rapidly growing company, CompTech. Your duty as a network engineer is to develop a computer network that will support 50 or more computers that ComTech has in its regional location and one sub-location about 40 miles away. Employ all the necessary softwares, firewalls, cabling, Network intrusion detection systems, and if necessary Virtual private network to link the two geographical sites. Give detailed step by step information on how you achieve this. |

You need to read the forum rules. We cannot help with homework.

Re: need some help with my network designing project
Right, I understand that...but I spoke with my lecturer and he gave me the option of posting my question on techforum. As part of "sharing and learning from other tech groups," we are encouraged to share and learn from other Tech people. thats the only way we can learn fast.
if you can help, please help! I am not "circumventing the learning process" cos I really want to understand what I am doing. |

Re: need some help with my network designing project
It doesn't matter if you have your teacher's consent. No help can be given on this forum.
