Shopping for a laptop/WNIC
Purchacing a cheap laptop on ebay soon.
looking for a WIFI card to go along with it. I know usually there is a built in card, but an external one could be better. Higher power-I heard PCMCIA cards can transmit higher power signal than USB External antenna plugin- For my high gain external antennae Compatible with-Kismet, or BackTrack, or NetStumbler Able to be set to promiscuous mode. I currently have an Orinoco Gold, and was wondering if theres anything better? Also, any advice on buying a laptop on ebay under 200$? |
