Problem with wireless adapter

I have a Broadcom b/g adapter, don't know anymore than that, inside a Lenovo S10e. I installed Windows XP Pro on it, and now the wireless adapter doesn't work. I have tried getting several drivers from the internet, none of them work. Will anyone tell me how to fix this?

Re: Problem with wireless adapter

Did you get the drivers from the manufacturer's site? You might also need a wireless utility to make it work.

hm, those worked, except now Windows won't manage the connection, even though I started the Wireless Zero Config Service. Any ideas?

Re: Problem with wireless adapter

Do you mean it doesn't recognize the card?

Re: Problem with wireless adapter

Did you make SURE that the 3rd party wireless client was not installed and running?

Re: Problem with wireless adapter

There is a third party client running, but I don't want to get rid of it because it is the only thing that manages the connection.

Re: Problem with wireless adapter

You have to use one or the other, they both can't manage the same card.
